Vacation Package to Costa Rica

What is the ideal Vacation Package to Costa Rica? Pretty much whatever you can dream up is available in Costa Rica. For a country roughly the size of Vermont and New Hampshire combined, there is an incredible amount of diversity available for any kind of traveler. The geography and the resultant micro climates alone are amazing. From rain forests to cloud forests, Pacific and Caribbean beaches, volcanoes, islands, abundant national parks, and the bustling Central Valley, there is literally something for everyone. What is the vacation you have been dreaming of?

Adrenaline on Demand: The All Out Costa Rica Adventure Vacation

Are you happy when upside down or in constant motion? There are many ways to satisfy this craving in Costa Rica including: class 4 white water rafting on the Reventazon, bungee jumping over the Colorado River Gorge, dramatic waterfall rappelling in Arenal, exhilarating zip line canopy tour in lush Monteverde, hiking into the depths of the amazing Corcovado Park, sea kayaking in the Caribbean, action-packed guided mountain bike tours, camping and climbing to Costa Rica’s highest peak Chirripo, hard-core custom surfing trip to Witch’s Rock and beyond, diving with the dolphins off of the Osa and Canos Island. The list goes on…

Beach Bum: Sun and Sand

Looking for the endless summer? Nearly two-thirds of Costa Rica’s borders are beaches. Combine this with year-round summer temperatures averaging in the 80′s and you don’t have to look hard at all. Whether you seek night life or seclusion, local culture or surf culture Costa Rica has it all, and with accommodations to fit every budget/lifestyle. Some key beaches of the Nicoya Peninsula include the lively Tamarindo, Malpais, and Montezuma as well as the more secluded Samara, Nosara, Hermosa and Playa Grande. One of the most visited parks and beaches is Manuel Antonio just outside of Quepos. Farther South you have the raw and seemingly untouched Drake Bay in the Osa Peninsula, and on the other side near Golfo Dulce you have the Pan Dulce, and farther up over on the Caribbeaan Coast the beautiful Manzanillo and Cahuita. All the beaches have easy access to many activities and National Parks as well.

Hooked on Ease: The All Inclusive Vacation

We have heard from many people from various professions, married or single, with or without children that they love all-inclusive. The highlight is definitely on convenience; everything is taken care of from transportation to lodging, food and drinks, and in many cases the activities and tours as well. The time to unwind and feel like you are really on vacation is minimal, you sink right into ultra-relaxation mode. If you have teenagers with constant appetites, no problem, with all meals and non-alcoholic drinks included. Many places have special kid’s activities and shows with child care centers for the smaller ones. The resorts are safe, contained communities, where you don’t have to worry about your teenager wandering too far in uncharted territory. If you want to have a bit more flexibility and see some of the surrounding areas, you can arrange during your visit many different day and half-day tours. Canopy zip-line adventures, national park tours, hiking, rappelling, white water rafting to name just a few. You can do as little or as much as you like with all the basics covered.

I could go on an on with all of the options: spa and hot springs packages, luxury resort packages, casino resort experiences, cultural tours, indigenous focus vacations, eco-naturalist vacations, agro-packages including an organic chocolate plantation in Talamanca, the best custom surf camp packages from beginner to advanced, volcano/mountain/beach combo packages….. The list is endless, and the best way to come up with your ideal trip is to talk to one of our travel designers that lives, works and plays in Costa Rica. Our travel designers will listen to your expectations and wishes and custom design the Vacation Package to Costa Rica of your dreams!

Help answer the question about travel vacation packages

Does the price of gas affect travel agency vacation packages?I'm watching an Apple Vacation Package change.
I want to go to Jamaica this fall for a week and am trying to find the best deal with Apple Vacations. The prices change every few days. I wonder if the price of gas has an affect on the price or could it be the hurriane forecast?

I saw book a package deal, especially cheaper if you want to actually tour the countryside….there are some wonderful deals for just under $1,000 for 10 days including tours throughout the country, meals and hotels throughout the country. You get to see the sites, taste the foods and stay at more than one hotel/villa! I have friends in San Jose and hope to go down for a visit next spring – stay with them some, but plan to take a package tour also…Have fun!

Paradise Escape offers high end vacation packages at reasonable prices.
With headquarters in Costa Rica, we always have the best rates from our providers.

I love this idea! This would be something crazy I would do – and if I thought about it hard enough I can probably remember a time when I did!

1. Send him something practical with a twist. For instance, pick up one of those little first aid kits at the Dollar Store, then customize it. It should come with alcohol swabs and bandaids, but you could add chapstick, individual packets of Tylanol and Benedral, and (wink) condoms :) (course he won't want to use this until he sees you!)

2. Make him a small day pack and fill it with stuff he might need. First aid kit, sunglasses, hat, etc

3. Most people when going to CR are going to play in the water or play in the dirt. If you are going to play in the water and he doesn't have an underwater camera – maybe pick up an inexpensive or disposible underwater camera that you guys can use on the trip.

4. Email him CR pictures everyday before the trip or send him a digital frame with CR pictures and then he can replace the pictures with pictures of your trip when he gets back. If you don't have any – let me know and I'll send you some – just got back on Saturday.

Can't think of anything else off the top of my head, but I hope this is helpful!

we rented a house on this web site http://www.costarica-vacation-getaway.com/
actually found the rental on this site then contacted the owner directly. great price for 10 days. cheaper than a resort/hotel and private. we visited 6 different national parks. highly recommend!!

We went on our honeymoon and had a great time. we rented a car – (a very rugged jeep and took out full insurance on the car so we would not have to worry about scratches)it was AWESOME

I would advise this route –
start at Arenal Volcano area – we stayed at http://www.tabacon.com/
we took an excursion on a little river boat and saw so much wildlife. this area is LOADED with natural hotsprings – it is just amazing.

Drive to Cloud Forest, Monteverde. We stayed at http://www.fondavela.com/
we did a canopy tour. This area is so cozy and you will truly feel like you are in the middle of nowhere but it is beautiful. It is the rainforest

Finally drive to Jaco area, we stayed at
http://www.centralamerica.com/cr/hotel/caletas.htm
you will be a short drive to Manuel Antonio which has a beautiful conservation park with tour guides. The park is the most famous in the country. And Jaco is a cute little beach town even if you do not go in the water.

By doing this you will see all CR has to offer – the volcano part, the rainforest, and the beachy part.
Even if you do not stay at these hotels, you can use them as a way to map out the trip and stay at less expensive ones

There are a LOT of websites that will do a Costa Rica vacation package for you. These include the large travel sites as well as Costa Rica specialists. You might also do even better than a website if you can find a local travel agent with a strong knowledge of Costa Rica.

Well, San Jose is great and I guess the night clubs are alright.

But if you visit outside of San Jose it's a GREAT place, I mean mountains, turtle beaches, rain forest, ect.

A relatively small hotel will not cost you much, walking to night clubs is better than taking a cab. But I really recommend trying to see the beauty, the beaches are amazing.
