If you plan to get your cheap airline ticket in last minute from Los Angeles will be the cheapest on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursday. Mondays is well known for business travelers and weekends are key dates for vacationers -so avoid these dates.
Another tip for money-saving tip is to look for flights that go through main cities are often considerably cheaper than flights to smaller cities. Since there are large number of flights – and competition – from these cities on low price airlines, you can keep money over flying non-stop to your destination.
Another tip for saving-money as per my knowledge most of the airlines must sell tickets to their lights to offset the cost of the flights since no matter how many or how few people are on the flight it must run and they must spend the money. As the flight gets closer, the airline will lower the price of their airline tickets to get the plane to fill up. They know that they cannot get full price so they keep lowering it a bit every day until the take off. The closer to the flight that you are willing to book it the cheaper you will get the airline ticket. The last minute airline ticket websites communicate with the airline and know how low they will go. Since I do not trust, the sites I get the number form them and present my offer to the airline. It really does work.
The most expensive air tickets from Los Angeles are found during peak holidays travel time, such as the Independence Day, New Year’s Day, X-Max holidays. Also, be aware of events or festivals, which can cause limited availability and ticket fares are on peak.
• Look for flights that go through large cities, with many flights
• Check out carriers besides the national airline – they may undercut the monopolistic competition.
Lastly, a fair deal found at the time of writing. The last minute cheap flight tickets from Eros Travel, Los Angeles is the best place I have found to get my cheap airline ticket. I promise that if your try it out you will be get it. Besides, you have absolutely nothing to lose by trying it but you will miss some great airline deals if you do not try it. I suggest you search few best Last Minute Cheap Flight Ticket providers website as I found while searching on Google. These are Airtkt.com, Cheapfareguru.com, Erostours.com, Latinfare.com

No one site has the cheapest rates all the time. I use the three websites listed above and have always been able to find a good deal.
(Jet blue does not fly to sweden)
there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. just go here: http://cheapest-travel-ever.info/hc9y and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online… otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

This is exactly what I do and you should to. First the cheapest airfare is always on the airlines website, you just first have to find which airline is cheapest to fly; for example, if you are flying from New York-JFK to San Francisco Delta might pop up as the cheapest deal than you would go to Delta’s website and find that it is a few bucks cheaper.
Before I get into this always remember that traveling on a Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday is always going to be the cheapest deal because these are the least traveled days of the week. Sometimes Wednesday is as well. And if you book the earliest flight for the day sometimes you get specials. I flew from Atlanta to Chicago Midway one way for $29 bucks on a Tuesday morning. I did have to leave at 6:00a but it was worth it for this price.
So how do you find the cheapest flight?
1.Go to farecast.com and fill out the information. It will show you all airfare deals and it tells whether you should by the ticket at the price shown or to wait because the cheapest fare listed will drop. This is accomplished by the website using airline analysts to evaluate when an airline will drop their prices. And I can tell you they are always right
2.Go to orbtiz.com and do the same thing just to make sure the prices are not cheaper. Also go here so you can see how crowded an aircraft is. The more crowded an aircraft the higher the fare.
3.Finally when you have found the cheapest carrier go to their website to save even more money sometimes as much as $10 dollars
Priceline is an interesting website. It can be stressful. Unlike the websites up above you know for a fact how much it is going to cost. With priceline you have to stay by the computer for a long period of time to try and bid for a good price which you more than likely will not get.
The truth is if you see a one way fare for $110-$140 bucks to wherever you are flying just buy it, because it is more than likely the best deal you will get. You hear websites such as Hotwire or Priceline giving out fares for cheaper than a hundred dollars and it is just not the case. Go to these websites and compare the price you found on another website and you will see there is no difference.
One last thing I prefer to fly on flagship carriers particularly Delta and Continental, but I can afford to take them. Low cost carriers such as Airtran, Jetblue, and Southwest a lot of the time do have better deals. Although interestingly because of the mess the airline industry is in flagship carriers are dropping their round trip prices to the same as low cost carriers. And if I have a choice to fly Delta or Southwest I am going to take Delta especially since they have some of the best customer service in the country and are starting to put TV screens on all seats for flights longer than 4 hours.
Hope this helps
If you are willing to sacrifice your pick of airline and departure times, Priceline's Name Your Own Price will give you the best deal.
try going to http://www.travelocity.com or http://www.orbitz.com
good luck!!
