Cheap Flights: Travelling Made Easy

Recently, British airways decided to slash down their airfare by up to 68% to 40 destinations as reported by Daily Express. The reported discount was due to the series of setbacks that were experienced by its clients. Another news item reports that the airfares are likely to be slashed by several airlines keeping in view the upcoming Valentine’s Day. Needless to add, such move by British Airways has encouraged competition amongst its rivals. And surely, it is a blissful time for the travellers. These cheap flight tickets suggest the evident rise in the air travelling business.

Such is the scenario, where competition is growing and so is the comfort of consumers. Airline industry is minting millions and they want to pull the consumers towards them and so they offer the best possible services at a reasonable price. These cheap flights can be easily asked for anywhere around UK and around the world too. Bargain hunters can not ask for better as they can get a good discount on the flight rates. And surely enough, best hospitality is promised through these flights.

Keeping in mind the requirements of the guests, new policies have been implemented according to which you only pay for what you need. That means, for instance if you don’t wish to eat, don’t pay for it. This sounds pretty fine when the travelling distance is less. In turn you get cheap flight tickets. And guess what, consumers like this idea a lot.

Shop around to atleast 5 different airlines and you will always find a cheaper price. Sometimes there are even promotions, The sooner you book the cheaper.

But $300 round trip per passenger does sound about right to me…

you should book as far in advance as possible. the reason dates close to today may look cheaper is that this might not be a popular time for that flight. to cut through the deals, you should check out http://www.travelcuse.com to book your trip. the site is an aggregator which means it takes offers from various online sites and shows you the best deals. good luck!

Another great tip. I owe you a large drink Martin.

A better tip is to take Martin out with loads of low capacity drinkers and promise to buy the roundabout there, the one at pegati junctuon, or…,……,..,.,..,.,….,..,.

For group travel, if you can get away with it, I recommend using Companion Airfare vouchers.

You basically buy 1 regular price ticket & get the 2nd ticket free for your companion. Sometimes those travel centers get fussy if you spell out for them that it's for group travel, but if each person only books a flight with one other person & doesn't wear matching t shirts when they check in, you could save a ton of $!

If you look online you can find them – here is one site I know that offers them – they might have a good hotel deal in Houston too, I don't know all the locations they offer – good luck!

Best bet is to get on all the budget airline email newsletters. EasyJet, Bmi Baby, Flybe, Ryanair (sooner you than me!) etc.

Decide where you would like to go and what times etc. so you are ready to strike instantly!

As soon as they release their summer schedules there will be some excellent bargains. Snap them up then (we did this year……)

Have fun doing your groundwork!

shop around through different ticket agencies/ airlines. get a AAA membership. order tickets early, theyll go quick. good luck!

farecast.com is the best for me because it compares several airlines, times, number of stops, etc. It also has a historical fare predictor which pretty accurately will tell you when to buy or wait due to fluctuations in ticket prices.

Hi, check out also the http://www.cheaptickets.gr/travel/flights/canada.php for flights to Canada.

Well I just went on travelocity.com for you. As for weekend deals, say next weekend, there's a lot of "Last Minute Packages" available. To go somewhere here in the country..domestic vacations are 200-300 per person for the whole package. Or if you wanna leave the country and go to either Europe or the Caribbean, its like 600-800 per person for the weekend.

http://www.orbitz.com will show you the cheapest airfare no matter where your departure and destination are.
